Persons allowed to appeal to the Medical Appeals Board:
- A recipient of disability benefit for whom a medical disability degree of at least 60% was determined, or a person who does not receive disability benefit for whom a medical disability of at least 75% was determined.
- A person who was entitled to Attendance allowance before reaching the age of retirement.
Composition of the Medical Appeals Board:
- A specialist doctor;
- A nurse;
- A specialist psychologist / physical therapist / occupational therapist or speech therapist.
The Medical Appeals Board is conducted in the same manner as the Medical Board.
